Primary Purpose:
To provide technical support and maintenance for all campus-level technology systems, ensuring they meet the instructional and operational needs of the Sulphur Springs High School and other campuses as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a computer related field of study (Preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting computers, software, networks, and peripherals
- Proficiency with Windows and Chromebook devices, related software, and related accounts
- Maintains a positive attitude and works effectively with others
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a K-12 or educational environment
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students for campus technology related accounts
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot campus technology, including computers, peripherals, interactive displays, classroom devices, and networks
- Prepare, image, repair, and deploy devices
- Monitor, update, and document support requests
- Assist with inventory management, tracking, and deployment of technology equipment
- Collaborate with district IT staff to escalate and resolve advanced technical issues
- Assist in district technology projects and initiatives
- Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly
- Participate in professional development to improve skills related to job assignment
- Perform other duties as assigned
